We would really welcome some new volunteers in the canteen! Your child/children will receive a free lunch if you volunteer in the canteen!
Our school is lucky enough to have a canteen that is open 5 days a week. Our employees and volunteers process more than 400 orders a week and each term we need volunteers from the parent community to help canteen staff: e.g. labelling bags, making sandwiches and wraps, packing orders and serving at the canteen window.
We need a full roster of volunteers each term to ensure that the canteen can continue to operate. Without volunteers the P&C would have to consider reducing the opening days and/or increasing the prices to cover the cost of extra staff.
The shift time is : Monday - Friday, 12.00 Noon - 2.00 pm; Younger children are allowed in the canteen. You can volunteer for as many or as few shifts as you would like during the year. It's a great way to see the range of food on offer in the canteen and say hi to your children at lunchtime. If you would like to help out please add yourself to the Canteen Roster. Just choose a suitable date and time and put your name into the spreadsheet! Please also email your contact details to our roster coordinator at brpsandcroster@gmail.com.
