It's our campus - Have your say

Beaumont Road Public School is a wonderful school and, with a little foresight and planning, we can make it even better.

As requested by the School Council, a campus master plan has been developed by the Building and Grounds Sub-Committee. The Committee includes representatives from the P&C and parent community.

The aim of the Master Plan is to guide future decisions in relation to the requirements for new buildings, capital expenditure on existing buildings, and other infrastructure projects that will affect the school in the long term.  In addition, it provides data that will inform decisions regarding priorities for expenditure of funds held separately by the school and the P&C.

We welcome this plan, which represents an exciting new phase in the development of BRPS. The proposals represent an investment in the current and future requirements of students and teachers.

It contains a campus footprint showing options for proposed major building locations and works.

Whilst planning is still underway in many areas, consultation at this stage will provide further input to the planning process, help shape the completion of the campus master plan and initiate priority works.

BRPS School Council is seeking feedback on the first stage of the campus master plan. Of particular interest is feedback on the key themes, priorities and proposals, as well as any additional ideas, opportunities or concerns that should be considered in the plan.
